The EOSB platform is the national register of employee end-of-service benefits held in trust, run by the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security. Each organisation that takes part — employers, trustees, fund managers, the regulator and the platform administrators — signs in to its own workspace. The manual has two parts:
  • How EOSB works explains the platform itself: who takes part, who is responsible for what, and how each workflow runs from start to finish. Read it first if you are new.
  • A guide for each kind of user, screen by screen. Pick yours below.

How money flows

Guides by user

Employer

Register employees, fund your EOSB trust, approve fund manager budgets and follow your liability.

Regulator (MELSS)

Verify employers, trustees and fund managers, and oversee monthly accruals and employer ledgers.

Trustee

Confirm funding, approve benefit payments, and control every movement of money to and from the fund manager.

Fund Manager

Recognise cash, invest it through portfolio frameworks, pay mandate expenses and return money to the trust.

Platform Admin

Register and activate employers and providers, pay out benefits, run the monthly accrual and manage users.

How to read the screenshots

Every screenshot comes from the live platform. Where you need to act, the screenshot is marked:
  • A red outline with a number marks a button, field or area. The number matches the numbered step or list item next to the picture.
  • Pictures without markers show what the screen looks like in a given state — for example, empty, waiting for approval, or showing an error.
The organisations, people, amounts and reference numbers in the screenshots are demonstration data. Your screens show your own organisation’s details.
